Our History

Over the years, adults who believe in the Girl Scout movement have joined together for fun, fellowship and service to their councils in groups.  Many of these groups were based on the Trefoil Guilds in the UK and Canada, as well as the Order of the Silver Trefoil (OST), which is composed of 25+ year members.  As time passed, the need to be able to network became apparent.  At national council meetings the initial steps to identify existing groups and individuals who wanted to be part of a group were made.  Those groups and individuals were surveyed and in April of 2019 and delegates assembled for the organizing congress in Louisville, KY. to adopt guidelines and elect officers thus officially creating our organization.  The Northeast Texas council delegates extended an invitation for the TG/OST-USA to hold its first national conference in Dallas in 2022 ... and so it began.
